The Canadian Tire Jumpstart program provides funding for children that would not be able to participate in physical activity without assistance. Here at the CGC, Jumpstart funding is available for most of our Aquatics and Recreation programming.
Active for Life is the place where parents go to learn about activities for kids. Physical education leads to physical literacy, which is critical for child development. Physical literacy also gives active kids the best chance to someday compete in high-performance sport.
Canadian Sport for Life is a movement to improve the quality of sport and physical activity in Canada. CS4L links sport, education, recreation and health and aligns community, provincial and national programming. The CGC is proud to offer CS4L approved programming.

Thrive! is designed to help build a province where healthy eating and physical activity become part of our daily environment. The CGC has partnered with Thrive! to help provide funding for women and children to participate in physical literacy programs.

Since its inception in 1998, the Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic (CSCA) has coordinated and delivered high performance sport services to coaches and athletes throughout Atlantic Canada.
